A referral message you can copy
Hi Sara, I saw that [Company] is hiring a Backend Engineer. I have 5 years in Go and payments, which matches the role closely.
Would you be open to referring me, or telling me a little about the team? My CV and the job link are below. No problem at all if not.
Keep a simple log for each application
- Company, role and link
- A saved copy of the JD
- The CV version you sent
- Date applied and date to follow up
- Who you spoke to
Treat silence as an answer and keep your pipeline moving. Never pause applying because one process looks promising.
