- Job title and legal employer name
- Base pay, and each allowance listed separately
- Working hours and days
- Probation and notice periods
- Visa, medical and flight costs: who pays
- Family sponsorship and health cover
- Leave and end-of-service terms
- Bonus: guaranteed or discretionary
Real offer or scam?
Likely a scam
- Asks for a fee for visa, training, or a medical
- Offer with no interview
- Emails from a free mail address
- Pressure to pay or decide today
Normal signs
- Interviews with people you can look up
- Email from the company's own domain
- Written offer with the legal entity name
- Time to review, and open to questions
Never pay anyone for a job or a visa, and do not send passport copies until you have verified the employer. If in doubt, contact the company through its official website.
